Greenberg's Ivanhoe to receive Einstein Humanitarian Award

Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University will present its Albert Einstein Humanitarian Award to Robert Ivanhoe, a noted New York City real estate attorney and chair of the global real estate practice at Greenberg Traurig, LLP. Ivanhoe, a Greenwich, Conn. resident, will receive the award at the Annual Golf & Tennis Tournament and Dinner hosted by Einstein's Professional & Leadership Division (formerly the Men's Division) on June 17, at Sleepy Hollow Country Club. The event will benefit Einstein's biomedical research aimed at improving human health, particularly the discovery of innovative drug treatments for cancer, diabetes, heart disease and other serious medical conditions. For more information or to purchase tickets, call 718-839-7913 or email [email protected]. Ivanhoe has been a dedicated supporter of Einstein for more than 30 years. His participation in the Division began in 1981 and he has served on its executive committee since 1983. A member of many prominent professional and civic organizations, he serves on the boards of the Real Estate Lawyers Division of the UJA Federation and the Real Estate Division of Israel Bonds. He is also a member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and the Urban Land Institute, and sits on the advisory boards of The Stoler Report and The Bloomberg BNA Real Estate & Law Report. "We are proud to honor Robert for his remarkable business accomplishments and his extraordinary commitment to giving back to the community," said Mitchel Maidman, chair of the Professional & Leadership Division. "Robert has been a staunch advocate for advancing Einstein's efforts to improve the health and well-being of people in New York City and around the world. This long-standing dedication makes him a role model who embodies the values of Albert Einstein." The Annual Golf & Tennis Tournament and Dinner of the Professional & Leadership Division of Albert Einstein College of Medicine is the flagship event of a more than 50-year tradition of philanthropy on behalf of Einstein. It celebrates the spirit of friendship and collaboration of a group of philanthropy-minded business leaders united in their passion for advancing the College of Medicine's mission to improve human health.
