Greenberg/Berk named co-managing partners at Friedman LLP

According to Friedman LLP, a regional accounting, tax and advisory firm, Harriet Greenberg and Frederick Berk have been appointed as the firm's co-managing partners. Bruce Madnick, who served as Friedman's managing partner for over 25 years, has been appointed CEO. Jeff Agranoff has also been named COO. In addition, the firm named of four new partners. While serving as managing partner, Madnick led Friedman's expansion to eight locations and 350 employees. During his tenure, Friedman also became a Top 50 national accounting firm and one of the largest and most respected firms in the New York, New Jersey and Philadelphia metropolitan area. Madnick will continue to guide the firm and support the management responsibilities of Greenberg and Berk. "I am honored to serve as a co-managing partner, especially as our firm continues to grow and strengthen. Our executive leadership team will be in excellent hands with Bruce Madnick's continued stewardship as CEO, while Fred Berk and I work together in our co-management roles," said Greenberg. "I'm also very pleased that we have such a capable COO in Jeff Agranoff." Berk said, "The new generation of leaders will continue Friedman LLP's development and maturation. Our carefully crafted succession plan puts our firm in a very healthy position moving forward. The current management team is extremely capable and poised to provide an excellent future for the firm." "Harriet and Fred are terrific leaders, and I could not ask for better successors," said Madnick. "I look forward to continuing to guide our firm's expansion while we remain committed to providing best-in-class client service and senior-level expertise." Friedman also announced that four of their senior accounting professionals have been promoted to partner: Diane Gitto (Linwood, N.J. office); Jerald Jacobik (New York City office); Seth Marin (Long Island office); and Justin Van Fleet (Marlton office).
