Manhattan, NY Paul Gottsegen, president of Halstead Management Co., was the 2017 recipient of New York Build Managers’ Association (NYMBA) “Honorary Member” Award. The award, which recognizes accomplishment and service in the real estate or affiliated industries, was presented at the 97th Annual Grand Ball on Saturday, April 29th at Capitale. NYMBA, established in 1917, was celebrating its 100th anniversary.

“Although I am not a resident manager or superintendent, NYBMA’s strong history of cooperation, collaboration, and working together with managing agents has been critical to the smooth operation of professionally managed buildings. I have the highest respect for the important jobs their members perform, and the men and women who perform them,” said Gottsegen, who received the “Honorary Member” Award for the third time since 1992.

The NYMBA was established a century ago, with the aim of building peer support via monthly meetings to share knowledge, while managing some of New York’s premiere real estate properties. Since the Association’s establishment in 1917, NYMBA has proven to be a strong and influential force in New York City. The organization provides its members a multitude of specialized events and opportunities in which to participate.
