The free-standing site was a former Blockbuster Video which closed 18 months ago. Steve Gillman, executive vice president at Northwest Atlantic, was the broker who represented the landlord, Hillside Metro Associates with Robert Corroon of Hillside.
According to Gillman, "At one point we had a WaMu deal, but EBI makes alot of sense because the neighborhood is primariliy residential, perfect for a pharmacy. Nearby there's a Dunkin Donuts, Burger King and McDonalds. Parking is tough to come by in this area and this property has great parking."
Hillside Metro Associates installed a new roof, replaced fencing and laid new asphalt for the parking lot.
"EBI plans to open in August," according to Corroon.
