GFP Real Estate completes 3 new leases totaling 15,000+ s/f

New York, NY GFP Real Estate, LLC has completed three new leases at 594 Broadway in SoHo totaling 15,043 s/f.

In the first transaction, cyber security firm WithSecure signed a three-year lease for 6,300 s/f, extending its existing lease on the 12th floor. With a presence in Europe, North America and Asia Pacific, WithSecure will continue to use its New York space for executive offices to serve its clients locally and nationally.

Donna Vogel, senior managing director of GFP Real Estate represented the landlord, GFP Real Estate in this direct transaction.

In the second transaction, EVE Energy Ventures, d.b.a. Xeal Energy, a cleantech company that enables electric vehicles (EV), chargers, and the grid to interact seamlessly through its innovative technology and services platform, signed a 2-year lease for 5,332 s/f on the 8th floor. As more electric vehicles hit the road each year, Xeal Energy is quickly growing by partnering with the nation’s largest real estate companies to electrify thousands of parking spaces. The company’s clients include Related, Greystar and Align Residential and Lincoln Property Group, among others.

Ron Kaspi of Stone-Miller represented the tenant, Xeal Energy, in the transaction; Vogel of GFP Real Estate represented the landlord, GFP Real Estate.

In the third transaction, McIntosh Group, a holding company that specializes in high quality audio equipment and owns the brands McIntosh, Sonus Faber and Sumiko, signed a 1-year lease for 3,411 s/f of office space on the 3rd floor.

Jason Majlessi of Venture Commercial represented the tenant, McIntosh Group, in the transaction; Vogel of GFP Real Estate represented the landlord, GFP Real Estate.

“Tech and entertainment-related firms like WithSecure, McIntosh Group and EVE Energy Ventures firms continue to seek out quality space with a certain level of cool factor to them,” said Vogel.  “594 Broadway offers just that—a great location in SoHo with exposed brick, oversized windows and soaring ceilings located along one of New York’s prime retail corridors.”
