GBC honors Build New York and Safety Excellence Awards winners on November 1

The Atrium of Lourdes Hospital was the setting for the GBC's Build New York and Safety Excellence Awards Thursday evening, November 1. A crowd of about 125 enjoyed a reception and the awards presentation, and many lingered for coffee, dessert and conversation afterward. Among the guests at the reception were State Senator Thomas Libous and Assemblywoman Donna Lupardo, both from the Binghamton area. Our congratulations again to the Build New York and Safety Excellence winners, and our sincere thanks to the sponsors who helped make the evening a success. We're pleased to announce that next year's awards presentation will be held on October 4, 2008 at the Wild Center in Tupper Lake. The Wild Center was one of this year's winning projects and it should provide a spectacular venue for next year's awards. It will be fall foliage season and we will encourage participants to make the event a weekend getaway. Congratulations!
