Galleries Bartoux moves to Wooster St.

Manhattan, NY Retail by MONA said that Galeries Bartoux, an international French family group with 20 galleries worldwide, including Paris, Saint-Tropez, Courchevel, Monaco, London, New York and Miami,  is relocating to 114 Wooster St. from their space on Central Park South. They had been located at their previous location for over 10 years. Their new gallery in Soho will be Galeries Bartoux’s first downtown location.

The Bartoux family represents a whole new generation of leading contemporary and design artists. In addition to their portfolio of art galleries, the Bartoux family also excels at bringing art to the public domain with attention-grabbing installations from the slopes of Courchevel to the streets of New York City. The most recent example of a highly successful installation is New York artist Carole Feuerman’s hyper realistic statues of “swimmers plunging into the water” along Park Ave. and an immersive exhibition in the heart of the gallery.

Eric Le Goff, vice chairman of Retail by MONA, said, “We’re proud to represent one of the pre-eminent galleries from across the world in this major change for their business. Moving downtown will revolutionize the way they are seen and allow Galeries Bartoux to be amongst the cognoscenti of the downtown art scene. We are thrilled they chose Retail By MONA to help them make this move.”

Robert Bartoux said, “Moving from our longterm location to the new downtown location was not an easy choice to make, but once we decided to do so, we couldn’t think of a better leasing and advisory firm to help us with this than Retail by MONA and their experienced team.”

MONA is a leasing and advisory firm that guides tenants and landlords through the evolving retail landscape. Galeries Bartoux is represented by Retail by MONA’s Eric Le Goff & Suzanne Bernstock.
