Douglas Elliman arranges long-term lease

The leasing team of Faith Hope Consolo, chairman, and Joseph Aquino, executive vice president, along with Arthur Maglio of Douglas Elliman's retail group has arranged a long-term lease for Maharaja Palace Restaurant, at 2113 Frederick Douglass Boulevard, between 114th and 115th Streets. "The same owner has had a popular restaurant on Madison Avenue in Carnegie Hill for several years," said Consolo. "This expansion into Harlem speaks volumes about the neighborhood and emerging customer base." Maglio said, "The previous tenant was also a food establishment, but one that was reflective of earlier times in the area. Maharaja Palace is more of an upscale restaurant and the first to offer this type of cuisine on the block." Consolo, Aquino and Maglio represented the landlord Tahl Propp Equities during the transaction. The tenant's broker was Walker Malloy.
