Law Offices C. Jaye Berger

ABOUT

Ms. Berger has been known over her 25+ year career as a “go to” person for residential and commercial construction and contract issues and real estate transactions, including license and access agreements. Her New York City boutique practice includes reviewing and drafting lots of contracts, advising clients on disagreements that arise during projects and representing co-op and condominium buildings. There are always new and interesting topics, such as co-op buildings wanting to change their managing agents and hire doormen companies to estate and stock issues. In recent years there has been a lot of activity with access agreements for work on neighboring buildings. Ms. Berger will be giving a webinar for the AIA on this subject. Co-ops and condos always have capital improvement projects starting or finishing and related issues. It is nice to be able to look around New York City and think of the part I played in the “look” of the City. Ms. Berger enjoys listening to people describe their problems, since she always has good advice and insight into possible solutions and helpful examples to share as illustrations.
