Destiny USA will open at 12 a.m. on Black Friday to begin the holiday season

Destiny USA will open at 12:00 a.m. on Black Friday to celebrate the "official kickoff" of the 2012 holiday shopping season. In addition to shopping, several dining and entertainment venues will be open late in the evening on Thanksgiving Day so that visitors can enjoy the facility as they prepare for the most important shopping weekend of the year. Several thousand shoppers gathered last year as select stores opened at 12:00 a.m. with exclusive deals and savings for those who ventured out in the "wee hours the morning" after Thanksgiving. The added mix of entertainment, dining and premium outlets is sure to make this year's Black Friday an event to remember. "With the new premium outlets joining the mix and the added value of entertainment and dining venues all under one roof, we are preparing for our biggest day yet," Robert Schoeneck, general manager of Destiny USA said. "We've been overwhelmed by the response and anticipation from both merchants and consumers to open at midnight. We expect visitors from much of New York State, northern Pennsylvania, and Canada." Destiny USA is one of the state's largest shopping destination, with a mix of luxury outlets and main street retail. This will be the first year the facility's expansion will host premium outlets and stores, as well as restaurants and entertainment venues, open for Black Friday. Many stores will open at 12:00 a.m., and visitors can find individual opening times for restaurants, anchor retail and entertainment venues at www.destinyusa.com under the Holiday hours banner. Destiny USA is a 2.4 million s/f tourist destination. New brands are continuing to open to create a shopping experience. A three-story glass atrium provides perfect weather year round. It is one of the largest LEED Gold certified retail commercial building in the world. Oxford Economics has projected an annual visitation rate of over 29 million visitors from throughout the U.S. and Canada. Destiny USA is expected to be the second most visited shopping center in the country, according to Travel and Leisure magazine.

The death of the generic offering memorandum: What buyers expect in 2025 - by Kimberly Zar Bloorian

There was a time when an offering memorandum (OM) was pretty bare bones, some photos, a few bullet points on income, and a rent roll thrown in at the back. That used to get the job done. Not anymore. In 2025, buyers are sharper, faster, and more selective. They’re looking
