Cushman & Wakefield secures 10-year, 35,000 s/f lease for Forchelli Curto

According to Cushman & Wakefield, Forchelli, Curto, Crowe, Deegan, Schwartz, Mineo & Cohn, LLP, one of Long Island's most acclaimed and distinguished law firms, has leased 35,000 s/f for its headquarters at The Omni, located at 333 Earle Ovington Blvd. The law firm signed a 10-year lease and will occupy the 10th floor of the 575,000 s/f building, which is owned by RXR Realty LLC. Forchelli Curto will relocate from 330 Old Country Rd. in Mineola. The move is scheduled to take place in late spring /early summer. Ted Stratigos, senior director of Cushman & Wakefield of Long Island represented Forchelli Curto. "We are very excited about the move," said Jeffrey Forchelli, the firm's managing partner. "After an extensive site selection process, we felt that the Omni provided the best opportunity for our expanding operations. This relocation is a part of a long-term, cost-effective approach to ensure our firm's continued success and growth in the region." "The Omni's location is convenient to accommodate the firm's client base in Nassau and Suffolk Counties, as well as those in New York City," said Stratigos. "The Omni was an ideal fit with the firm's image, offering an accessible location in a well-managed, building and what is considered a trophy Long Island office building. RXR's emphasis on quality amenities and attention to details is unprecedented," Stratigos said. Partner Brian Sahn oversaw the firm's selection process, and Sahn and partner Barbara Alesi, spearheaded Forchelli Curto's lease negotiations. The new law office will implement the latest in design and technology for law firms. Affirming the law firm's commitment to maintain an eco-friendly presence, construction of the new offices will also include a multitude of "green" and sustainable construction materials and techniques which are being overseen by a LEED accredited architect. The Omni is a class A, premier multi-tenant office building located in the heart of Nassau County, just east of Garden City, in the desirable Mitchel Field hub. The property is located adjacent to Hofstra University, Nassau Coliseum and Mitchel County Park.
