Cushman & Wakefield leases 25,000 s/f at 1180 Avenue of the Americas

Manhattan, NY Cushman & Wakefield arranged multiple long-term leases totaling 25,000 s/f at 1180 Avenue of the Americas, a 398,937 s/f office building in Midtown.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Bryan Boisi, Michael Baraldi, Harry Blair and Mark Boisi represented the landlord, Northwood Investors, in the transactions.

Clark Hill, a law firm, signed a 4,500 s/f lease on the 19th floor. The tenant was represented by Gabe Marans of Savills and Michael Webber of Advocate Commercial Real Estate Advisors.

Compensation Advisory Partners, a consulting firm, signed a 10,000 s/f lease on the 22nd floor. The tenant was represented by Bert Rosenblatt of Cresa.

Advantage Capital Holdings, LLC, a financial firm, signed a 10,000 s/f lease on the 21st floor. The tenant was represented by Justin Myers and Dennis Someck Lee and Associates.

“We are thrilled to welcome Clark Hill, Advantage Capital and Compensation Advisory Partners to Northwood’s portfolio,” said Christopher Caltabiano, senior vice president, Northwood Investors.

1180 Avenue of the Americas recently underwent capital improvements that included a completely renovated main entrance, lobby and a new modern façade.

“Northwood Investors has invested significantly in transforming this property into the top creative, boutique building in Midtown. The top floor penthouse amenity delivers a best-in-class tenant amenity package with a large terrace that meets the needs of today’s tenants looking for an exciting outdoor space for their employees and clients,” said Boisi.

The property is situated at the northeast corner of 46th St, centrally located in between Rockefeller Center, Grand Central Station and Port Authority. The asset offers access to the West Side Hwy., FDR Dr., Lincoln Tunnel, Midtown Tunnel and all of the major airports.
