What year did you start your career in commercial real estate: 2012
What recent project or transaction are you most proud of?
The Greenwich Lane, a new condominium development on the site of the old St. Vincent's Hospital was an opportunity to create a new sense of place. A mix of new buildings and adaptive reuse, the project weaves into the historic fabric of the neighborhood. We restored the historic facades and enlarged the windows to design spaces with the charm of the past but daylight and views that reflect today's tastes. Similarly, the interior finishes have a historic elegance while the layouts reflect contemporary living. The project works from both the interior and exterior to redefine a Greenwich Village landmark.
What is the first thing you do when you arrive in the office in the morning?
I check my email on the train so that when I get into the office I can finish one concrete task before the day gets too crazy.
What time management strategies do you find to be the most effective for you?
If you don't spend the time to do a thorough job the first time, you'll spend twice as long on the second round.
What is the best advice you have received and who was it from?
" Fail fast." James Timberlake, FAIA
What is your favorite quote?
"They slipped briskly into an intimacy from which they never recovered." F. Scott Fitzgerald
