John Brescia

Bronx, NY Hellman Electric LLC has promoted John Brescia, senior project manager, to project executive of Hellman Electric’s JFK operations. This new position is a result of Brescia’s unwavering dedication to excellence, efficiency, and outstanding project management.

With a background as a journeyman electrician, Brescia quickly rose, demonstrating strong leadership and organizational skills. Since starting at Hellman Electric in 1999, Brescia’s skillset has expanded through his involvement in design-build projects by playing a vital role in the electrical design of multiple contracts.

Furthermore, Brescia’s expertise in the electrical field results from hands-on training through the IBEW Local #3 program and extensive experience working with renowned government agencies such as NYCDOT, NYSDOT, NYCDDC, PANYNJ, NYC DPR, and others.

“The physical vastness of the various operations, their complexity, and the sheer magnitude of work requires extensive oversight, and we know who we want to lead the team,” said Carlos Casal, executive vice president heavy construction division. “John and I have worked together for over 20 years, and I’m glad to have him by my side on this endeavor. We’re grateful to be able to entrust in John the responsibilities and oversight commensurate with this role as we expand our footprint at JFK.”

As project executive of Hellman Electric’s JFK Operations, Brescia will oversee all electrical projects at the JFK airport, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest possible standards.
