Bizzi & Partners celebrate opening of Langham Place at 400 Fifth Avenue; Douglas Elliman is exclusive sales and marketing firm

Bizzi & Partners Development has welcomed the new hotel operator and soon-to-be-owner at its 400 Fifth Ave. property. Langham Place - a five-star hospitality brand - replaces The Setai Fifth Ave. and brings an enhanced service and amenities platform to The Residences at 400 Fifth Ave., including a bar/lounge and spa. Designed by Gwathmey Siegel & Associates Architects and appointed by design firm DAS Concepts, The Residences at 400 Fifth Ave., more than 80% sold, are located on floors 31 through 60 of the property. In addition to an array of amenities, including a fitness center, fully-equipped lounge and terrace, residents can now indulge in Langham Place's hotel services and conveniences. "400 Fifth Ave. is synonymous with luxury and sophistication, and we are thrilled to align with a hotel that reflects this sensibility in its design and service," said Giuseppe Rossi, executive VP of Bizzi. "The amenities at 400 Fifth Ave. have always been a significant draw, and Langham Place elevates and expands that piece of the homeowner proposition," said Karen Mansour, executive VP of Douglas Elliman Development Marketing, the exclusive sales and marketing firm for The Residences at 400 Fifth Ave. Established by Langham Hospitality Group, a global family of hotels, the 214-room hotel has been completely re-envisioned with an array of new amenities, including Measure - a stylish and comfortable lounge by chef Jeffrey Seizer, formerly of Maialino and Union Sq. Café. In addition, Langham Place plans to re-invigorate the interiors and, in 2014, will introduce Chuan Spa. The spa also features a full-service Julien Farel Salon. Michelin-starred restaurant Ai Fiori will continue its tradition at 400 Fifth Ave., offering an impeccable fine dining experience from breakfast to dinner. Ai Fiori's menu celebrates the French and Italian Riviera, courtesy of the Altamarea Group and chef Michael White. The Residences at 400 Fifth Ave. range from one-bedrooms to more than six-bedrooms and boast a mix of elegant upscale finishes and fixtures, finely-crafted Italian wood cabinetry, hand-laid black oak flooring, stone countertops, floor-to-ceiling windows, and state-of-the-art appliances. Perhaps most important, every residence yields its own unique and breathtaking view of Manhattan. One of the greatest panoramas is seen from the 60th floor penthouse, which features six bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms and 360-degree floor-to-ceiling views of Manhattan - from Bryant Park and the East River to the Empire State Building, the Hudson and the skyline beyond. In addition, Bizzi & Partners just released a duplex penthouse concept that would combine the north penthouses on floors 59 and 60 to create a four-bedroom, 6.5-bathroom dream home with cathedral height ceilings and unprecedented wrap-around views. The duplex penthouse is listed for $33 million. Available one-bedrooms at 400 Fifth Avenue start at approximately $2,120,000; two-bedrooms start at $2,945,000; and three-bedrooms start at $6,950,000. The three-bedroom Fendi Casa penthouse is available for approximately $17 million, or $18 million fully furnished.
