What was your most notable project, deal or transaction in 2013? Most notable was the closing with the NYC Industrial Development Agency on the Extell GT, LLC project for the International Gem Tower on 47th St. This development reinforces the position of New York City as an International Diamond and Jewelry Trade Center. As an economic development consultant I can say that this was a classic project for a partnership between the public and private sector to successfully preserve a vital industry in the City, induce significant capital investment and create jobs. It is very gratifying to walk by the completed building everyday on my way to work, six years after I began working to secure the City incentives.
