ApartmentIQ commences a $25 million follow-on investment from Susquehanna Growth Equity

New York, NY ApartmentIQ, a real-time market intelligence, revenue management, and AI platform for the multifamily industry, have commenced a $25 million follow-on investment from Susquehanna Growth Equity (SGE), an entrepreneur-focused growth equity firm. SGE previously led the company’s $22.5 million Series B financing in 2021, when the business operated as Rentable, one of the nation’s largest apartment marketplaces. The investment reflects ApartmentIQ’s transformation from a consumer rental marketplace into an integrated platform helping multifamily operators understand markets in real time, optimize revenue, and automate operational workflows through AI.

In two years, ApartmentIQ has become one of the new multifamily standards for market surveys. The platform supports more than 1,500 portfolios, 8 million customer units, and 70% of the NMHC Top 50.

That growth reflects a broader industry shift toward platforms built on public data: data that is real-time, transparent, and broad enough to capture how markets are actually moving.

ApartmentIQ’s core market survey platform delivers daily, unit-level pricing and availability intelligence derived entirely from publicly available data. The platform replaces the manual and time-intensive market survey workflows operators have historically relied on for competitive pricing intelligence.

Building on that foundation, ApartmentIQ recently launched two additional products:

Explore Pro, a market intelligence platform used by operators, investors, and developers to identify acquisition, development, redevelopment, and competitive opportunities in real time.

Daylight, an AI-powered revenue management platform trained on nearly six years of daily market data across 40 million units. Unlike traditional black-box pricing systems, Daylight is designed to be transparent, predictive, and grounded in how markets actually move.

Both products are currently tracking to surpass 1 million customer units in their first year.

ApartmentIQ also launched MavenAI, the Company’s AI-powered multifamily marketing agent. MavenAI automates workflows that multifamily teams have historically managed manually, including Google Business Profile updates, social publishing, and listing management across fragmented marketing channels.

MavenAI powers more than 10,000 properties and is already saving multifamily teams tens of thousands of hours of manual work. As the industry shifts from traditional SEO toward GEO and AI-driven discovery, MavenAI is helping operators adapt to how renters increasingly search and make decisions online.

MavenAI represents ApartmentIQ’s first major step into agentic AI: software that not only surfaces insights, but also takes action on behalf of operators.

“When SGE first invested, we had a strong business helping people find apartments. Today, we’re building products that help multifamily operators see their markets in real time, make more predictive decisions, and automate more of the manual work required to compete,” said Alec Slocum, co-founder and CEO of ApartmentIQ. “SGE has been an exceptional partner through a period of significant transformation for the business. This investment accelerates our vision for a broader multifamily platform powered by real-time public data and AI.”

The new capital will be used to expand ApartmentIQ’s platform, accelerate investment in MavenAI and additional AI-powered products, and support continued hiring across engineering, data, product, and go-to-market teams.

“Since our initial investment, Alec and his team have consistently translated product innovation into meaningful adoption across the multifamily industry as AI tools take hold,” said Josh Elser, managing director at Susquehanna Growth Equity. “The Company’s expansion and effective utilization of AI to provide real-time market intelligence, revenue management, and marketing automation reflects a platform that is both broadening its capabilities and becoming increasingly critical for operators and owners. We are pleased to continue supporting ApartmentIQ as it scales into its next phase of growth.”

When the government takes a portion of a landowner’s property, most assume just compensation stops at the value of the land taken. However, in partial takings, that is only half of the equation.
