In addition to our investment sales, retail, and commercial leasing, we bolstered our residential brokerage and development divisions. We are very excited for the year to come! What was your most notable project, deal or transaction in 2012? The sale of a development site at 245 West 14th Street, between Eighth and Ninth Avenues, for $14.65 million tops our list of notable transactions. The key to this sale was location, location, location. With the Meatpacking District as one of the City's hottest neighborhoods, this was a phone call-and-hand shake type of transaction in which all parties worked to secure a quick closing. Plans have already been approved for a nine-story luxury condo. What are your predictions for commercial real estate in 2013? While the market remains vulnerable to the changing global financial landscape, we are optimistic about the upcoming year. In 2013, all signs point to continued growth in the commercial and residential real estate sectors inNew York City. What are some of your resolutions for 2013? The Heller Organization is focused on leveraging its core competencies to better serve current and future clients. We pride ourselves on being a boutique firm. It's not the size of the firm; it's the quality of service. Our goal is to exceed our client's needs on an ongoing basis.
