2022 Year in Review: Peter Mulcahey, JRM Construction Management

Peter Mulcahey
VP, Healthcare
JRM Construction Management

What was your greatest professional accomplishment or most notable project, deal, or transaction in 2022?

JRM has made a significant investment in expanding our healthcare construction division’s capabilities in 2022, and it has been a tremendous year. With over $170 million in sales since February, our team has an outstanding portfolio of projects for notable institutions, including the Hospital for Special Surgery, MSK, and Atlantic Health. JRM also has some of the most technologically advanced projects in the industry underway for Aviv Clinics and Biograph that focus on health wellness, awareness, and early detection.

What emerging trends will drive investment and development in 2023?

With the cost to build at its highest in decades, the need to produce more cost-effective delivery methods will be key. JRM is using the design-build contracting method to drive efficiency in the planning-design phase of a project while accelerating procurement and construction activities to produce faster and more cost-effective projects for our clients.
