Michael Clawar
Vice President, Head of Data & Analytics
Altus Group

What was your greatest professional accomplishment or most notable project, deal, or transaction in 2022? My biggest accomplishment was at 27 years old, I ideated, built, and sold StratoDem Analytics for $24.4 million to Altus. At Altus, I am focused on building a technology that offers hyperlocal insight into CRE market conditions for investors. I’m proudest of the work I’ve done addressing environmental risk.

How has your career path changed in 2022? Following the acquisition of the analytics solution I founded, StratoDem, by Altus Group in 2021, I became their VP of Data Science. In 2022, I’ve focused on developing and expanding Altus’ analytical capabilities and have oversight over the data science and innovation teams.
