What person, project, transaction, or market had the greatest impact on your industry this year? The rapid increase in interest rates has had a profound effect on the market, impacting values and highly leveraged development projects. As a result, credit investing has become a compelling and viable alternative to asset investing.

What was your greatest professional accomplishment or most notable project, deal, or transaction in 2022? In this challenging market, we achieved sales of 85% in our new condominium development at 64 University Place within 10 days after AG approval. Moreover, it was accomplished through a whisper campaign by our brokers, Fredrik Eklund and John Gomes, while the building was still not out of the ground.
