What person, project, transaction or market trend had the greatest impact on your industry this year? Redevelopment of mixed use projects within downtown areas, around train stations and on underutilized portions of Town-owned airports. Industrial warehouse space and logistics centers for storage, distribution and delivery services.

What was your greatest professional accomplishment or most notable project, deal, or transaction in 2022? Approvals to repurpose large retail space for medical use. Mixed use residential/retail projects within urban renewal areas in Riverhead and the Railroad Ave. corridor; the sale of three parcels to the Town of Riverhead to develop the Riverhead Sq. project; the development of a large industrial warehouse project in Bay Shore; and the construction of several on-site sewage treatment plants.

What emerging trends will drive investment and development in 2023? The approval and development of large regional mixed use transformative projects that will expand the breadth of tourism and technology on Long Island.
