What person, project, transaction or market trend had the greatest impact on your industry this year?

As a consulting engineering firm focused on structural design and special inspections, the release of the New York City 2022 Building Code has had the greatest impact to our sector by expanding both compliance scope and safety measures, including new means and methods for the design and construction industry.

What was your greatest professional accomplishment or most notable project, deal, or transaction in 2022?

For all Job Applications filed through DOB NOW, AMAA is the top Inspection applicant on more building permits than any SIA firm for over two years. Our team determined this through analyses of permit applications filed with DOB’s public record. This was an extremely humbling accomplishment for AMAA in 2022.
