What leadership lesson has made the greatest impact on your career?
My inspiration in leadership is my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who is a servant leader that came to benefit others and not himself. I strive to make service the hallmark of my work in helping my clients and my teammates. Anticipating outcomes that further goals of those I am serving is the highlight of my day. His example teaches me to continue to endeavor to put others first. This has served me well in my career in building lasting relationships and implementing a work ethic that pursues excellence.
What advice would you give to the next generation of women entering commercial real estate?
Women are naturally nurturing, caring, encouraging and affirming and these are some of our greatest strengths. I aspire to cultivate and leverage these parts of my God-given nature to connect with others in the work place and build up those around me. Working at a firm like Outsource, where we are a team driven environment, is a great place to thrive in being a woman in the workplace. I would advise the women of the next generation not to lose faith in their abilities to inspire as women.
