2026 Women in Construction: Genevieve Guerin, KINGS Capital Construction and Charitable Foundation

Genevieve Guerin
President & Executive Administrator
KINGS Capital Construction & Charitable Foundation

What current or recently completed project, accomplishment or initiative are you most excited about, and why does it matter for your team, clients, or community? I am most excited about leading KINGS Charitable Foundation’s annual Backpack Drive, Turkey Drive, and Holiday Benefit - initiatives that directly support thousands of families across our communities. As president, I help scale these efforts to distribute over 15,000 turkeys, 200 backpacks filled with school supplies, and holiday gifts to children in need. These initiatives matter because they reflect our team’s shared values, strengthen trust with clients, and demonstrate the KINGS builds more than just projects - we build community.

What do you wish more women knew about the opportunities available in the construction industry today? I wish more women knew that construction offers dynamic, long-term careers far beyond the jobsite. From leadership, operations, and administration to project management and community impact, the industry values strong communication, organization, and problem-solving. Construction provides real growth, stability, and the opportunity to lead meaningful work that shapes communities. Women belong in every room, role, and decision - and the industry is stronger when they step into it.

What habit or routine helps you stay focused or motivated during a busy week? I remain motivated by honoring the trust JD and Mike placed in me, staying disciplined and mission driven.
