2026 Women in Construction: Andrea Bailey, JRM Construction Management

Andrea Bailey
Project Manager
JRM Construction Management

What current or recently completed project, accomplishment or initiative are you most excited about, and why does it matter for your team, clients or community? The National Museum of Mathematics was a major project that I completed recently. While it’s the exhibits that truly shine, our team put in a tremendous amount of work behind the scenes. It is a unique space dedicated to providing kids and families with accessible and engaging ways to experience math. The project is a showcase of how math shapes architecture, engineering, construction, and everyday life.

What is one piece of advice or perspective you would share with women beginning their careers in the construction industry? Confidence and competence grow together. Learn as much as you can in the field by asking questions and building relationships with subcontractors and designers. More often than not, people are more than willing to help you grow in your career. Don’t give up! Staying resilient and consistent every day will elevate your personal growth in the construction industry.

What is something outside of work that brings you energy, balance or creativity? Travel fuels my creativity, exposing me to global design and infrastructure that inspire innovative construction solutions.
