2025 Ones To Watch - Industry Leaders: Jennifer Appel, Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman LLP

Jennifer Appel
Partner
Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman LLP

Recent goal and impact:

Over the past decade, several departments in our firm were intricately involved in securing a myriad of approvals for a mixed-use development in Suffolk County that is expected to have a significant economic impact within the region. It was gratifying that I was part of the team that participated in supporting the project through its final stages to a successful closing.

Giving Back:

I had the privilege of spending a day with several of my colleagues working at a Habitat for Humanity building site. It was not only rewarding to be part of the effort to construct a home for a local family, but it was enhanced by working with other attorneys and support staff of my firm in a completely different setting. It gave us a whole new perspective of each other.

Best advice for new leaders:

Be confident but always be willing to listen and to learn.
