Who are the key people in your life that have contributed to your success? My sister Melissa has always pushed me to succeed. Not only did she provide an incredible example with both her success and generous character, but she was the first person to show me that your interests could lead to an impactful career.

Beyond your professional achievements, what are some of your passions or hobbies? In my free time I like to take advantage of all that New York has to offer. Even after living here for eight years, I still have places I’m itching to go to. I love trying new restaurants, going to concerts, and exploring the city’s parks.

Outside of your career, where else do you seek continuous learning and personal growth? I love to challenge myself to learn new skills, which can be hard to do as an adult. Lately, I’ve been taking Spanish. With this new skill I hope I can open the door of communication to more of my fellow New Yorkers, particularly the growing refugee community here.
