2023 Year in Review: Keyvan Ghaytanchi, BEB Capital

Keyvan Ghaytanchi
Chief Investment Officer
BEB Capital

What was your greatest professional accomplishment or most notable project, deal, or transaction in 2023? The successful closure of our debt fund. Since then, our focus has been implementing our strategic plan, with the primary objective of providing our investors with attractive, risk-adjusted returns. This endeavor marks a pivotal milestone in our firm’s journey and underscores our commitment to delivering exceptional value to our stakeholders.

How has your career path changed in 2023? My career evolved significantly, driven by the successful launch of our fund. Despite the complexities of the current economic landscape, our team’s ability to execute strategies has laid a robust foundation, enhancing our platform and equipping us with the necessary infrastructure to undertake and realize more ambitious business objectives.

What emerging trends will drive investment and development in 2024? In my view, the year 2024 is poised to witness a stabilization in monetary policy, which I anticipate will contribute to narrower spreads in debt markets and bolster confidence in underwriting processes. This shift is likely to catalyze an increase in transactional activities within the investment sector.
