What person, project, transaction, or market trend had the greatest impact on your industry this year?Unfortunately, or unsurprisingly, the answer here is likely Jerome Powell and Janet Yellen. The name of the game for 2023 has been “Interest Rates”, and the real estate and banking industries are fighting for the title of most severely impacted. Sterling National going under was particularly stirring for New York.
What was your greatest professional accomplishment or most notable project, deal, or transaction in 2023? After joining Grassi Advisory Group at the tail end of 2022, my first full year with this firm has filled me with incredible amounts of joy as I’ve been able to engage with, learn from, and seek to positively impact my phenomenal new colleagues within our ranks.
