2023 Women in CRE: Nicole Daniggelis, Ariel Property Advisors

Nicole Daniggelis
Associate Director – Investment Sales
Ariel Property Advisors

What recent project, transaction, or accomplishment are you most proud of? The recent sale of a corner mixed-use building at 65 Woodhull St. in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn. Despite uncertainty as a result of rising rates and legislative headwinds, by running a streamlined process we were able to create a competitive bidding process, ultimately receiving over 10 offers and transacting at a sale price equating to an in-place 4.3% cap rate.

Why should this nominee be recognized in our Women in Commercial Real Estate Spotlight? “A key member of our Brooklyn team, Nicole has participated in 20+ transactions totaling $300 million+ during her career. I’m equally impressed by her recovery from surgeries stemming from injuries sustained while on Yale’s Varsity Lacrosse Team. She brings discipline/determination to assignments and eagerly participates in our community outreach activities.” - Paul McCormick, Partner – Sales Management at Ariel Property Advisors.

What are the most important factors women in your industry should consider when choosing a firm to build their career with? It’s important to find a company with strong core values that align with your beliefs and a culture that promotes professional and personal growth.

Who inspires you most? What qualities do they possess that inspire you? My parents have always emphasized the importance of hard work and doing the right thing. They inspired me to be the best version of myself.
