Alex Capozza
Senior Vice President
M&T Realty Capital Corp.

Number of years at firm: 8

One thing on my bucket list: Travel to all 7 continents

When I am not working, I am: Watching the Yankees and playing in Prospect Park with my dog Patches.

What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? I am most proud to see the growth and success of our Strategic Alliance with Marcus & Millichap over the past 12 months. It’s been a great professional experience to be a part of launching a new initiative and seeing how successful we can be, even in such a tumultuous market environment. Serving as the strategic alliance screening manager has provided me with the opportunity to both expand my leadership skills and also loan screening capabilities.

What makes this nominee a RISING STAR?
“What sets Alex apart are his analytical skills and ability to anticipate the needs of underwriting to secure a loan approval. Alex goes above and beyond when screening deals and this due diligence has increased his effectiveness and also customer service to our clients. Alex is a leader, but also a collaborator and I believe the sky is the limit for him.” - Michael Edelman, President at M&T Realty Capital Corporation
