In addition to growing Ariel’s presence in Manhattan, Mike is spearheading efforts to expand the firms’ work with diverse faith-based organizations across NYC. He advises such groups on how real estate can be maximized to best serve their missions, be it through ground leases, joint ventures or strategic dispositions.

Who inspires you most? What qualities do they possess that inspire you most?
I’m inspired by my partners, Shimon Shkury, Vic Sozio, Ivan Petrovic, Sean Kelly and Paul McCormick. All of them are consummate professionals and each has a unique way of pursuing the values we look to instill in everyone at Ariel, which include collaboration, commitment, accountability, personal growth and innovation.
