During a difficult time in the market, we were able to close on several transactions in the Bronx and Harlem.

What advice can you offer to someone who is interested in a career in your industry? 

Always have positive attitude and energy, despite the market trends. Try to envision the cup as half-full at all times. Don’t allow factors that are out of your control to affect you negatively. 

If you have a mentor, who is it and how have they influenced your personal & professional growth? 

Jeff Sutton was a leasing broker representing Payless ShoeSource. He found a creative way to look outside the box and purchase properties, while simultaneously leasing them to high-end tenants. Over time, he amassed a billion dollar portfolio of some of the strongest retail properties in the world.
