What was your most notable project, deal, transaction or professional achievement in 2017?
We obtained a settlement which lowered the aggregate property assessment over $10 million for one of the city’s oldest cooperatives, resulting in over $1 million in tax savings. While it is always satisfying to watch someone accept responsibility, it is especially reaffirming in today’s political culture to witness your government recognize its own error and correct it. To be able to send a client a refund check is a nice way to end the year.
