How have you navigated obstacles to achieve success in your career?

I believe you must stay current with new technology and trends. I’ve done this by improving my website and promoting my business using social media, hiring employees with the latest skills and constantly educating myself by attending seminars and workshops.

How do you play your strengths to your advantage in your career?

My most significant strength is that in addition to bringing in new business and working with the clients, I am involved in all aspects of every project and work directly and in collaboration with my employees so that we can pool all of our talents and create the most amazing space for our clients.

What trends are you seeing so far this year?

The trends I’m seeing in the design of business workplaces is a desire for open plan design which creates a sense of community by incorporating communal work tables and encourage collaboration between employees. Employers want to create an exciting and stimulating environment for their employees.

What do you do for fun?

I love to tour beautiful places by bicycle.  Montauk and Tuscany, Italy are some places I’ve toured…Next stop, Loire Valley, France.
