How did you get your start in real estate?

My father owned a painting contacting business in NYC, and I worked in payroll and benefits department.

What real estate associations or organizations are you a member of?

Corenet, Non Traditional Employment for Women, BOMA NY, BOMA international 

What recent project or transaction are you most proud of?

I am most proud being part of the redevelopment of Brookfield Place, our firm was one of the contractor’s that worked on several components consisting of several infrastructure upgrades, retail, food/beverage, pre-built suites, lobby, and restroom upgrades.

What recent honor, achievement or recognition has meant the most to you and why?

Our firm was named one of the top 10 places to work in the region and I am proud of this.

What have been some of the benefits of being a mentor or having a mentor?

Learning from others and being able to teach the younger colleagues what I have learned through different experiences in the AEC industry.

Who or what has been the strongest influence on your career and why?

One of my first clients who gave me my first shot in construction, they believed in me and that I could get it done.

What time management strategies do you find to be the most effective for you?

Make a list and prioritizing

What is the best advice you have received and who was it from?

Treat everyone with respect, you never know when you will bump into them again. My father gave me this advice.
