What was your most notable project, deal, transaction or professional achievement in 2015? In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, NYS and NYC officials were challenged with the need to “Fix and Fortify” numerous facilities to guard against the impact of future storms. The Property Management of 2 Broadway, a 1960’s Lower Manhattan Office Building, is an ongoing client.   Tenants include the US Attorney General’s Office and the NYC Metropolitan Transit Authority.  BGA is working with DLB Engineering and Presray, a water barrier manufacturer, to implement a multi-phase water mitigation initiative. It was rewarding to be part of a team that played a critical role in protecting Lower Manhattan’s infrastructure from future storm events. What real estate project, transaction, market trend or product had a significant impact on your industry in 2015? The high cost of real estate in Manhattan is a continual challenge for many businesses. As a result, the trend toward increased density and consolidation prevails. How will you be supercharging your productivity in 2016? We, at BGA, have always been committed to finding new and better ways to accomplish our goals, while satisfying the needs of our clients.    We continue to expand our knowledge base and ensure that our staff is up to date on the latest innovations within the industry. What emerging trends will drive investment and development in 2016? The needs of the millennials will drive the trends in 2016.
