The "Building Business in Brookhaven" Expo is presented by the Brookhaven Business Advisory Council in partnership with the Town of Brookhaven, the New York State Small Business Development Center, Miller Business Resource Center, Town of Brookhaven Industrial Development Agency, Brookhaven National Laboratory and the Brookhaven Arts and Humanities Council. Supervisor Ed Romaine said, "The BBAC is a great resource for businesses to network, share ideas and help grow the local economy and the Expo is the perfect venue to do it. I encourage our business community to take advantage of this opportunity to promote their business, make important contacts and reach new customers." "The Business Expo has really grown beyond our expectations - especially in the last several years," said Bruce Newman, President of the BBAC. "This is a must attend event for any business in Brookhaven that wants to connect with a large audience of potential partners and customers. This year's speaker will also provide key insights into many practical things businesses can do to grow sales." This year's event will feature "Build Your Sales," a free presentation at 5:30 by international sales expert, trainer and author Jeff Goldberg. Subjects will include "It Starts with a Goal," "Creating YOUR Plan" and "Selling Without Feeling Salesy." Other features include: * Free refreshments. * Multiple raffle prizes. * First 250 people to register will get a voucher for a free gift bag. To register or if you have questions about the event, please call the Brookhaven Business Advisory Council at 631-451-6927 or visit www.brookhavenbac.org.
