Thor Equities closed on another Upper West Side rental property for $37.35 million. This acquisition is Thor's fourth purchase in the UWS in the past 6 months. The property, a 6-story elevator building consisting of 39 residential units and 2 medical offices with a total of 47,832 s/f. The property also has 13,000 s/f of air rights. This equates to $920,000 per unit and $790 per s/f. The seller of the deal is Arbro Management and they had purchased the building in 2003 for $13 million.
Steven Vegh of Westwood Realty Associates' was the broker on the transaction. This is Vegh's and Thor's third off-market transaction in the UWS in the last few months. In May 2014, Thor purchased the building across the street 838 West End Ave. for $67 million and in March 2014, 120 & 125 Riverside Dr. for $85 million from Vegh. Tags:
