"Woman of Distinction" Faith Hope Consolo, chairman of Douglas Elliman's retail group was congratulated by Lloyd Williams, president of the Greater Harlem Chamber of Commerce, at the Women's History Month Salute to Twelve Women of Distinction 2014 Gala, hosted by the Chamber and the Harlem Arts Alliance.
Held at the Schomburg Center, Consolo's fellow honorees, representing business, media, community service and the arts, included Aliyyah Baylor, owner of Make My Cake; Aleathia Brown, visual arts coordinator for the Harlem Arts Alliance; Laura Greer, associate producer of the Apollo Theater; Angie Hancock, president of Experience Harlem; choreographer Dyane Harvey; Henrietta Lyle, chairman of Community Board 10; Cheryl McKissack, president, CEO of McKissack & McKissack; Lebogang Mokwena of the South Africa Consulate General; Flo Wiley, host of Black Beat NY, WHCR-FM; Mary Wittenberg, president of NY Road Runners; and NY1 anchor and best-selling author Cheryl Wills.
