Zlotnick and Dooling Woodbrier finish Price Chopper renovations

Renovations at a local Price Chopper have been completed. Approx. 64,000 s/f, the store was completely renovated with an eye towards making it more accessible for the elderly and physically disabled as well as more energy efficient throughout. Issues of sustainability were reflected in the use of new, low "E" glazing; a highly reflective roofing membrane; new energy-efficient lighting as well as new, more efficient mechanical systems. Zlotnick Construction of Mans-field Center, Conn., handled the construction in a manner that kept the store safe and open for the duration of the work. Ryan Crandall of Dooling Woodbrier Architects managed the project in concert with Trieste Savona of Price Chopper and Stan Nowak of Zlotnick.
