Zere of Zere Real Estate Services completes 123,150 s/f

January 24, 2011 - Long Island

Michael Zere, Zere Real Estate Services

The final quarter of 2010 proved to be a robust commercial leasing market in office and industrial properties in Suffolk County according to Michael Zere, executive vice president at Zere Real Estate Services.
"There were several factors that contributed to this new influx of business activity. First many companies were still downsizing, taking advantage of the good deals that were still out there in the market and to secure their new locations for a January 1st occupancy date. The biggest trend was that many companies were taking shorter lease terms due to the unstable economic market conditions," said Zere.
"Long Island is made up of small businesses that need to weather the storm with reasonable leases and price points," said Zere.
