Zaxis Architectural, P.C. to design 27,000 s/f Phase II Medical and Wellness Center
Zaxis Architectural, P.C. of Buffalo, New York has been awarded a contract to design Phase II Medical and Wellness Center scheduled to be constructed in the Town of Hamburg.
The center will be a one-story, 27,000 s/f building that will be sited on an approximate 3 acre parcel along Camp Rd. north of Southwestern Boulevard in the Town and directly next door to the Phase I Omni Pain & Wellness Center project which occupies just over 4 acres.
Due to the success of the Phase I Center, which is fully occupied, developer McGuire Development has identified a need for additional medical offerings to support the needs of southwestern New York residents.
In the Omni Pain & Wellness Center, the facility features Lakeshore Family Medicine Associates, led by Dr. Kristen Robillard, neurologist, Dr. Loubert Suddaby, radiology, physical therapist Buffalo Rehab and a testing suite operated by the Catholic Health System.
It is the intention of the developer to expand on the medical specialists offered in the Phase I facility to provide a comprehensive medical campus for the Southern Tier.
The Phase II facility will be similar in construction to the Phase I facility. The building is a steel frame clad by a quick brick masonry system, featuring cultured stone window and door treatments and arched entry elements constructed from glass reinforced concrete columns and architectural metal panel.
The interiors for each suite are custom designed to suit the vision and the mission of each specialist.
In addition to the Hamburg project, Zaxis Architectural, P.C. is providing their design services on a variety of other medical projects.
They are currently working on projects for Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Sheehan Memorial Hospital, Seton Imaging, a number of other private medical practice projects and PACE program projects which offer all inclusive care to nursing home eligible seniors which allows them to remain in the comfort of their own homes and familiarity with their own neighborhoods.
