What market trend(s) will impact your industry in 2019?
In 2018, there was a resurgence of the economy and that impact has been directly felt in the construction industry. AKF has seen a nice backlog of work for the coming year and we are excited for these opportunities. However, we are beginning to see a slowdown on the multifamily sector, particularly in the condominium development market. Although we are well positioned as a premier consulting engineering firm in this and many other market sectors, we will need to adjust and continue to showcase and provide our clients with a high level of value.
