VVA selected as project manager for 9,000 s/f

VVA Project Managers and Consultants have been selected as the project manager for an off-site facility for Lutheran Family Health Centers in Brooklyn. The project consists of a new 9,000 s/f family outpatient clinic for the hospital. The facility will have 16 exam rooms, 4 dental offices and a rehab gym to service the adjacent community. The firm also continues their tenure at NYU's Langone Medical Center in New York City, working on a variety of projects for the hospital including a new ICU and Women's Pavilion. The first phase of the ICU project was completed in May, with Phase 2 currently underway. Once completed, the ICU's footprint will have doubled to 25,000 s/f. Upgrades to each single patient room include head walls, bedpan hoppers, integrated patient lifts, and a CCTV patient monitoring system. The addition of an individual nurse station for every two patient rooms further facilitates enhanced patient care. Additional projects at NYU Langone include a renovation to the Yung Hsia Women's Pavilion and a 6 bed Allogeneic Bone Marrow Transplant unit, the first of its kind for the hospital. The firm is also providing Project Management services for the renovation and complete upgrade of a 1,700 s/f doctor's suite affiliated with Lenox Hill Hospital.
