USGBC-LI to hold Bike Share event on June 13

Hauppauge, NY USGBC-LI will hold a Bike Share and Electric Vehicles Event on June 13. Transportation choices and policies have large environmental, economic and social impacts. Emissions from transportation are a major contributor to air pollution and contribute to 27% of U.S. greenhouse gases. The transportation industry also represents 28% of total energy consumed in the U.S. 

Join USGBC-LI for a night of networking and engaging conversation. There will be two lively panel discussions on the latest developments in bike share and electric vehicle technology and incentives. Panelists will include experts in these fields as well as local leaders helping to shape the coalitions needed to foster more sustainable transportation on Long Island. 

The event will be held at150 Motor Parkway, Lower Level- Media Center.
