With more than 50 people in attendance, including professionals from the real estate, finance, moving and healthcare industries, Manhattan Skyline Management Corp., one of New York City's leading real estate organizations, hosted the New York Council of Relocation Professionals (NYCORP), a group focused on the advancement of the relocation function in the tri-state area, and CORT Furniture Rental, a company that offers a variety of relocation and destination furniture rentals for homes and offices, for a lively evening of education and networking.
The event took place at one of Manhattan Skyline's premier rental residences, Claridge's, located at 101 West 55th Street. Guests were greeted by NYCORP's co-founder, Sonya Weisshappel, and Manhattan Skyline's Vice President of Sales, Leasing and Marketing, Concetta Raz, who was also on hand to discuss Manhattan Skyline's prestigious portfolio of over 2,500 luxury rental apartments which the company owns and operates throughout some of the city's most desirable neighborhoods.
Jim Cassidy, Senior Director of Expatriate Services at BDO USA, a premier accounting, tax, financial advisory and consulting organization, led an informative discussion on the future of investing and starting new businesses in Cuba, after which guests toured a corner unit at Claridge's that offers expansive open spaces, large windows, a newly remodeled kitchen and bathrooms and abundant closet space.
"We're so happy to have hosted this incredibly engaging group at Claridge's," said Raz. "The New York Council of Relocation Professionals is a tremendous resource with access to industry leaders and movers and shakers around the globe. We're thrilled to have introduced their members to our NYC portfolio, and to CORT Furniture - a perfect partner in the world of relocation."
Claridge's prime location provides an elegant lifestyle in the heart of the city, just steps away from Central Park, Fifth Avenue, and the Midtown Manhattan office district.
