Thru the Lens: Children at Heart Gala Dinner and Celebrity Fantasy Auction at Chelsea Piers

Actor Jon Voight and fashion designer Elie Tahari honored Chabad's Children of Chernobyl (CCOC) founding board members Norman Bobrow and his wife Julia Bobrow, whose 37th wedding anniversary fell on the same day as the recent Children at Heart Gala Dinner and Celebrity Fantasy Auction at Chelsea Piers. CCOC celebrated 28 years of dedication to rescuing over 2,863 children on 99 missions from the contaminated regions of Chernobyl. The gala and auction drew more than 600 New Yorkers and a celebrity list that also included, music producer Will.i.Am, CCOC's founder Nancy Spielberg, WNBC-TV's Lead Sports Anchor Bruce Beck and NFL player Bret Lockett. This year's gala raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to save the Children of Chernobyl. Bobrow is the founder and president of Norman Bobrow & Co Inc., a full-service commercial brokerage firm that specializes in tenant representation for leasing and relocation.
