What year did you start your career in commercial real estate: 1995 What recent project or transaction are you most proud of? My oversight of the design and construction of over 800,000 s/f in 7 World Trade Center in the course of 18 months, including a whole floor for a corporate conference center and a full service cafeteria. What recent honor, achievement or recognition has meant the most to you and why? Becoming a licensed architect. I thought it was the hardest thing that I could do that I'd love, I was right! Who or what has been the strongest influence on your career and why? Professors at Pratt Institute, from whom I learned how to think, translate ideas into physical space and defend my position. What is the first thing you do when you arrive in the office in the morning? Read emails What time management strategies do you find to be the most effective for you? Don't respond to every email the moment it comes in. What is the best advice you have received and who was it from? You must know as much as your consultants, at least conceptually; and if something doesn't make sense to you, you need to keep pushing until it does and you're convinced that the issue has been resolved. My own advice. List 3 women that you would like to have drinks / dinner with and where would you go? Hillary Clinton, Eleanor Roosevelt and Katherine Graham, at a café in Paris with no schedule.
